What a great night! Grad Show 2016 was an impressive display we will remember for a long time! The fantastic work exhibited was testament to the three years of hard-work that the students had put in earning their Bachelor of Design Arts.

Students have grown and developed as creative over their three years, and it was so gratifying to see all their hard-work and learning come together in one fabulous night! Disciplines on display included Communication Design, Fashion & Costume Design, Filmmaking & Photography, Graphic & Digital Design and Visual Arts. It was also gratifying to see all the love in the room from friends and family who came in droves to provide their support to the Academy’s final year cohort. A special thank you also to the people who attended from creative industry to show their support tonight and scout new talent!

To add to the sense of occasion, this year’s grad show was extra special. It was the first one in the Academy’s new home in Collingwood. This show was just the beginning in what we are sure will be the start of many exciting times ahead for new and continuing students! So stay tuned!

In the spirit of reconciliation LCI Melbourne acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.

LCI Melbourne pay respects to the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people and acknowledges them as the Traditional Owners of the land on which our campus is situated. We recognise this as a place of special significance for the Indigenous community.
