LCI Melbourne puts the health and safety of our students, staff and wider community as its highest priority. LCIM is closely monitoring and responding to advice relating to the current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak. We will continue to adjust operations in accordance with emerging information and professional advice from State and Federal Departments of Health.
Currently, LCIM remains open and safe for classes. Students and staff should continue to attend as planned and we are welcoming visitors to our campus for tours, exhibitions and events. In the event that any staff or student at LCIM is impacted by the Coronavirus (by medically testing positive to this condition), the institute will close and all classes will be suspended for one week.
After one week, classes will resume as scheduled in an online delivery format. Classes will continue to be delivered online until the all-clear to return to the LCIM campus is given. All necessary precautions enforced by governing bodies will be followed closely to ensure your health and safety.
We recognise that we have an important role to play in these uncertain and challenging times. While we are currently open, we have put in place a number of precautionary measures for your health, hygiene and safety.
If you are seeking information on novel Coronavirus visit health.gov.au or call the Australian Government Department of Health Coronavirus Information Line on 1800 020 080.
We acknowledge the concern and uncertainty surrounding Coronavirus and we are committed to supporting you throughout this challenging time. We will continue to communicate with students, staff and the wider LCI Melbourne community as further updates become available.
Thank you for your understanding.
