About Kieran de Wet
Kieran de Wet is a graphic designer and artist based in Melbourne, Australia. Born and raised in Perth's quiet city, art and comics were an outlet to escape boredom and mind-numbing monotony of Perth suburbia. Leaving high school at age 16 in 2010 and taking a chance on a small graphic design course at TAFE, he soon discovered his vocation and never looked back.
Moving to Melbourne, Australia's cultural capital, he set out to finish his degree and further his career. Influenced by a wide variety of artists that include digital painter Vlad Rodriguez, cartoonist Adrian Tomine, illustrator Alex Maleev and graphic designers Paula Scher and David Carson; Kieran is disciplined in various mediums, both traditional and digital.
