An exclusive Artisans of Fashion exhibition, with showings from iconic designers aiming to promote cultural sustainability, authenticity and social change.
LCI Melbourne will host an exclusive Artisans of Fashion exhibition, with showings from iconic designers involved the social enterprise that aims to promote cultural sustainability, authenticity and social change for village artisans in India.
Designs on exhibit have appeared on runways from around the world, and will aim to address the impacts of fashion on the environment with their sustainability, ethically sourced designs.
The exhibition will also include a display of Indian hand-loomed textiles, alongside photography, video and live demonstrations. It’s an event not to be missed.
In the spirit of reconciliation LCI Melbourne acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
LCI Melbourne pay respects to the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people and acknowledges them as the Traditional Owners of the land on which our campus is situated. We recognise this as a place of special significance for the Indigenous community.
We pay our respect to Elders past and present and future. Indigenous sovereignty has never been ceded.
