Hon. Linda Dessau AC promotes economic ties
The Hon. Linda Dessau AC, Governor of Victoria, and Mr Anthony Howard QC, recently visited LCI Education's Montréal campus - LaSalle College Montréal.
The Governor and Mr Howard are making the official visit to Canada, the United States of America, Colombia and Chile at the request of the Victorian Government. Their purpose is to promote Victorian economic and cultural ties with North and South America.
With a new $30 million campus nurturing the next generation of creatives in industry, LCI Melbourne is strongly invested in Victoria.
The Governor and Mr Howard met with Jaques Marchand, President at LaSalle International, and Claude Marchand, President of LCI Education, and enjoyed a tour of the campus.
In the spirit of reconciliation LCI Melbourne acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
LCI Melbourne pay respects to the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people and acknowledges them as the Traditional Owners of the land on which our campus is situated. We recognise this as a place of special significance for the Indigenous community.
We pay our respect to Elders past and present and future. Indigenous sovereignty has never been ceded.
