The Academy of Design Australia was proud to see Melbourne crowned ‘world’s most liveable city’ this month, for the seventh year in a row.

Each year, the Economist Intelligence Unit’s Liveability Index ranks 140 of the world’s best cities. Melbourne achieved perfect scores for education, healthcare and infrastructure.

Melbourne is renowned as Australia’s ‘cultural capital’, making it the ideal location to study our Bachelor of Design Arts. The city has a vibrant arts and music scene, an impressive year-round lineup of festivals, and an array of established and emerging design studios.

The home cities of two other members of the LCI Education network also ranked in the top 10 world’s most liveable cities. Vancouver was third, and Toronto fourth.
