In January 2018, LCI Melbourne will move into a new campus nearby, at 150 Oxford Street, Collingwood. The interior of this heritage-listed warehouse has been designed specifically for design arts education by architects Gray Puksand. The building forms part of the iconic Foy & Gibson complex and will position LCI Melbourne students at the heart of the most vibrant arts precinct in Melbourne.
LCI Melbourne campus features Mac computer labs, a reference library, dedicated study areas, student display space, personal studio spaces for second and third year Visual Arts students, and a communal student lounge area. The new campus will feature light-filled studios, editing suites, a large public contemporary gallery, library and study and collaboration zones.
Collingwood offers an array of food options, interesting shopping, galleries, nightlife and is also close to other amenities such as supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies and convenient stores.
